Problem with the Camera

If you’re experiencing issues with your camera during a test, follow these steps to troubleshoot:

For Google Chrome:

  1. Click the three dots icon in the top right corner of your browser window.
  2. Navigate to “Settings”.
  3. On the left side, select “Security and Privacy”.
  4. Select “Site Settings”.
  5. Click on “Camera” under the “Permissions” section.
  6. Confirm that the test-taking application is allowed to use your camera. If not, select the application and allow camera usage.

For Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Click the three lines icon in the top right corner of your browser window.
  2. Navigate to “Settings”.
  3. On the left side, select “Privacy & Security”.
  4. Scroll down to find camera settings and click on the “Settings” button.
  5. Confirm that the test-taking application is allowed to use your camera. If not, select the application and allow camera usage.

In addition, you can also allow camera usage in your computer’s settings:

  1. In the search box in the bottom left corner of your screen, enter “camera”.
  2. Open “Camera privacy settings”.
  3. Confirm that camera usage is allowed.
  4. Scroll down the page and confirm that camera usage is permitted for the browser you are using for taking a test.

If none of these solutions work, you may want to consider using an external camera or another laptop.
