Setting up your domain for your instance of YouTestMe is an essential step of white-labeling in YouTestMe.
In this article, we will guide you through that process.
Setting up your domain #
To set up your domain, you will need to:
- Send us the domain (URL) you want to use
- Change its DNS settings: CNAME or A record should point to our web server’s IP address. A useful example is: How to change an A record in GoDaddy. Use a DNS checker to make sure your DNS is configured.
- Let us know once you set the CNAME record of your domain, and we will let you know once everything is activated and ready for use.
NOTE: If you don’t know the web server’s IP address, please contact your point of contact or our support team for that information.
Setting up the SSL certificates #
Regarding SSL certificates for your domain, you have two options:
- You can send us SSL certificates issued by your domain provider to you to be installed on our web server. In this case, you should provide a new SSL certificate to us every year.
- We can generate and maintain Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates for your domain on our own.
Please contact your point of contact or our support team to let us know what you decided.
